Psych.

Well it turns out I did not have strep throat. I have mono. yes mono, and no, i am not a floosy.
Here is how the story begins:
For a little over 2 weeks I have had a cold, which is quite annoying if I do say so myself. Well I woke up Wednesday morning with THE WORST sore throat of my life. So, I got my butt over to the Urgent Care to see a Doctor. She ran no tests and prescribed me an antibiotic called azithromycin, she called it a Zpack. Well Just so happens I am allergic to Penicillin and eurthromycin, which means anything that ends in -cillin or -mycin I am allergic to.
FML.
So I took the Z Pack for the first day, then I was up throwing up all night long. (let me just add that throwing up with a almost closed off throat is not that great)
So, I woke up my roommate Whitney asking if she could take me back to Urgent Care cause I couldnt breathe and I think I was allergic to my medicine. Well I ended up in the ER with my throat closed off and finding out I was infact super allergic to the Z Pack. They ran some tests, I may or may not have thrown up on the guy drawing my blood. (oops. I dont like needles, I'm sorry) And a few hours later they tell me that I have a severe case of Mono. Fail.
Lucky for me my mom got on a plane the second she heard I was in the ER, so she put me up in a nice hotel with her and is taking good care of me. I'm on tons of medication, its really ridiculous, including steroids. I better not get a beard..
I finally have my appetite back and I think today I am going to venture outside, considering I've been in bed for 6 days and only got up to go to the bathroom and when my mom forces me to take a bath, and after those baths I am so tired I pass right out.

ANYWAYS, thats my story. Super exciting, right?
oh and p.s they told me no sports for a MONTH or 2! How dare they..but I would like to keep my spleen so I suppose I will listen...

Kill me. Please.

This is me right now.
About the only benefit of strep is getting to have Jamba Juice for every meal.

Uhmurika=America

So.
Today I am up in Salt Lake at school, just chillin in the library and I've noticed something I havnt before.
Downtown Salt Lake City is beautiful.
I think I have spent so much time hating on Utah and its freezing temperature and TERRIBLE DRIVERS that I havnt really looked around.
In the library I have a beautiful panoramic view of Capital Hill, Temple Square and all the buildings downtown.

Salt Lake may be itty bitty compared to all the other big cities in the world, but it has a lot of character. I love the architecture of the homes, apartment complexes, restaurants, hotels and business buildings. It is quite breath taking at sunset if I do say so myself.

Some of you may think I'm crazy. Maybe I am, or maybe I havnt been to europe enough to think something in america is beautiful. But I am an American and I am proud of it and I think its beautiful.
We live in the greatest country, Uhmurika.
so ya'll can suck it.

Should I win the worst blogger award?

I think yes.
Lets speed update yet again.
School is finished! booyah. I did not necessarily do as well as I had hoped when I first started the semester, but as soon as finals week approached my goal of getting at least all B's slowly dipped to passing my Anatomy&Physiology final.
But now it is on to a new semester, oh joy!
Christmas was just here and can I say I am LOVING IT! I mean how can you not when Christmas looks like this?:

I would dare to say you should all be jealous but it has been absolutely freezing lately. But I can at least say you all should be jealous of this view. I feel very fortunate that I get to come home to this, even though I love the snow...sometimes..most the time.

Santa brought me an iphone this year.
You truly out did yourself Santa.
And then you topped it off with Michael Buble tickets. I really don't think I've been good enough this year but I'll take it!

Tomorrow I go back to Provo, oh Provo.
Back to school, back to school
to prove to mom I'm not a fool.

Hopefully.

I have zero life.

Between all my med classes and working on my days off of school and then both weekend days and nights, I seriously have no life. I have no energy to do ANYTHING. When I get home from school and work all I want to do is go into hibernation for 8743258798790583749 days. Some say I should cut down my hours, oh yeah duh. Why didn't I think of that? Oh, maybe cause I have rent and gas and food and bills to pay and I need to set aside money for that day when I just have no time/patience to cook and also to go buy that new shirt or jewelry or shoes cause my day sucked that bad. Oh wait, thats like everyday. BLUH.
All I have to say is thank the big guy upstairs for TiVo or I would be deprived of the only things that fill my void of being a teenager again:

Gossip Girl
SYTYCD
Glee
It's Always Sunny
and
The Office

another thing I need to fix is this boy void. I think the perfect solution is a small adorable puppy I can snuggle with.

There we go, the answer to all my problems. Now if only I could figure out a way to not smell like smokehouse 24/7.
